I am enroute to getting my bachelor degree in Computer Science, graduating next year. My program has taken me through two languages, but C# seems to be the one I really enjoy. I feel like classroom work isn't like real world programming. I read places to start working with Open Source projects and try to go from there. I'm sort of lost on where to go and what projects are something good to work on.
I guess I am just looking for advice on what direction to go and how to get started with open source projects. Schooling only you gives you so much information and I think with programming it only brushes the surface. I am just looking to get real world experience and to build more confidence so when I start hitting the job market or an internship I can really stand out from others.
