Is it good idea to do replace on string containing 70,000 characters

Hi My String Contains about 70,000 characters ( can be more). I want to do replace on 3 words. It is good idea to do simple replace on string? I know StringBuilder will be better, is there anything better than that or will size cause any trouble.
