Let me preface with the fact that I am using VS2008 .net 3.5 and this may be fixed in later versions; we just have not upgraded our development platform yet.
I am using the folder browser dialog and I noticed that if I select new folder to create a new folder under a selected path, then type in a name in that highlighted field, AND when I finish typing the name immediately use the mouse to click OK, the selectedpath returns "New folder" instead of the changed name (this only happens on a network drive - works fine on local drive) but the directory has the correct changed name folder. Is there a delay that is causing the name problem? Has anyone else run into this problem and discovered a work around?
