I am a complete novice to web programming
Please clarify my doubts
1) HTML is a markup langyage to create HTML web pages?
2) We have HTML events / methods properties to manipulate the contents of an HTML document
3) Javascript is a web page based language to manipulate the contents of an HTML document
what is the difference between points 2) and 3) above ?
4) HTML DOM (Document Object Model) is also a language to manipulate the contents of an HTML document
what is the difference between points 2) and 3) and 4) above ?
5) Is HTML / Javascript / HTML DOM different to Internet Explorer / Google chrome / Mozilla ?
6) If so, can some one give me the links where do i see the HTML / Javascript / HTML DOM => events / properties and methods for Internet Explorer / Google chrome / Mozilla
7) I saw the link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/br212882.aspx and am confused as to where do I start?
If some one can help me as to where do I start and in which order I will be extremely grateful.
