detect dongle information without disconnect it from the internet !

Hi,

I want to know how can I get and detect my dongle information such as Dongle Manufacturer, imei,... 

so I have worked with AT Command , and I have get all these information from my dongle, but the main issue that i encountered, is that I have first to disconnect my dongle from the internet then send the At command .

so I want a way to communicate with my dongle without disconnect it from the internet ?!
